Levels Explained

​

Level 1 is designed for students who are brand-new to the piano. We start in the first book and build a solid foundation step by step—learning proper technique, reading music, rhythm skills, and playing simple songs right away. No prior experience is needed, and it’s perfect for anyone beginning their musical journey in a fun, supportive group setting.

Level 2 is for students who have completed one semester (20 lessons) of Level 1 and are ready to continue in the second book. It’s also suitable for learners who have had some previous piano experience or who have taken private lessons with us to catch up to the class. Level 2 progresses at a slightly faster pace, introducing more complex rhythms, hand coordination, and early repertoire to help students grow in confidence and musical independence.
