Ages 6mo - 3.5 years
Music is one of the only activities that stimulates and activates the entire brain, so it is a wonderful activity for brain development in young children.

Our Jungle Music program uses music to develop the whole child. Children will develop their social skills, listening skills and fine & gross motor skills, all within a multi-sensory environment.

Music is Fun
Ages 4 - 5 years
Music is fun is an introductory piano course where students are introduced to playing piano through age-appropriate activities. Basic music skills such as beat, rhythm, hearing and singing, as well as concepts of loud, soft, fast, slow, high, low are experienced.

Research shows that we all learn better with our peers. Throughout the course your child's confidence and resilience will develop through regular short opportunities to play or sing solo in front of others. Our nurturing class environment is the perfect place for your child to develop the skills needed to be successful at school such as teamwork, listening and social interaction.

Students learn how to find and play do-so on the piano, along with the basics of music notation & core music foundations including:

Junior Keys
Ages 5 - 7 years
In our Junior Keys Course your child will learn how to play piano, and learn important musical skills like:

Music is a written language. Theory & reading activities are done from the very first lesson in an age-appropriate and fun way.
​
This is a wonderful program for improving confidence as children have the chance to perform in class concerts throughout the term.

COURSE DURATION: 2 years
CLASS LESSON: 45 mins/wk
CLASS SIZE: < 8 students/class

ONE PARENT/CARER: Attends class as learning partner.
​
INSTRUMENT: Piano or keyboard is required for home practice.
​
COURSE MATERIALS: Playing Book, Theory Book/level, Online Practice Buddy Music Tracks for home practice.

Piano Keys
Ages 8+
Students will learn essential musical skills, as in Junior Keys, but in an age-appropriate way. ​

Students will develop the following skills:

If desired, students can sit for Foundation Exams during the course which consolidates learning & offers a positive exam experience.

ONE PARENT/CARER: Attends, but participation is optional (parents/carers are otherwise welcome to wait in the waiting room).

Private Tuition and
Buddy Lessons
At Bright Minds Music, we understand that every student’s journey is unique. That’s why we offer a small number of private tuition and buddy lesson options alongside our group classes.

Private Tuition
Private lessons are available for students who need to catch up to a group class—for example, students who join up to five weeks after the start of a group intake.
We recommend one 30-minute private lesson for every two missed group classes to help students feel confident and ready to participate.
​
FEES: $45 per 30-minute private lesson (books additional).
​
Buddy Lessons​
Buddy lessons are a great option for:

Two students who prefer a smaller, more personalised group, or
-
Siblings who would love to learn piano together.
​
These sessions provide the perfect balance of individual attention and the joy of shared learning.
FEES: $40 per student, per 45-minute lesson (books additional).
